We believe in the power of technology. The world's biggest hits are sometimes being recorded on laptops and iPhones while engineers use software to make them sound like they were recorded in top notch studios. Guitars? Recorded direct in and re-amped. Drums? Recorded on high quality electronic kits and played through Superior Drummer, Slate, or many other sampling engines. This modern workflow means we can get your recordings done FAST and accurately. Everything we record is done this way - but if you'd like to record in a more traditional "microphone" in the room manner, we will accommodate!
Even if we believe in a digital-first recording methodology, we could never forego the magic of analog circuitry when it comes to a solid mix. With a full rack of outboard gear highly regarded for it's sonic characteristics, you can get that vintage warmth of your favorite record here at Hudson Creative Group.
Here's the thing - mixing is subjective. What is one musician's holy grail of audio is another's garbage fire. That's why we work with you extensively over many revisions to make sure the sound you're hearing in your head is coming out of the speakers. Where other studios may use mixing templates and give you one or two tweaks before writing your invoice up, we believe in taking the time to carve your audio into art.
Where other studios charge you by the hour, leaving you feeling anxious and rushed, we only charge you by the song or project. We don't want you to feel regret with your art, thinking to yourself that you could have done better with a little more time. Come in, relax, and do it until you're happy.
From guitars, keyboards, and drums, to microphones, compressors, and reverbs, we have everything you need to get a professional, high quality sound.

At Hudson Creative Group, we charge only by the song or project, never by the hour. And when it's finished, you can get all your stems, by request, for remixing or archival purposes.
We include mastering for free for all tracks recorded in house, though we always suggest using a separate engineer for mastering. Four ears are better than two, as they say.
